Let’s face it. People in our society today want washboard abs. There’s just no way around it; abs or a flat stomach are just a valued thing to have. Unfortunately, they’re also very difficult for a lot of people to get. So, what are the best ways to get a flat stomach? Here are the top three that anyone can do:
1. Eat less sodium and fat. Sodium causes you to retain water in your cells, while also making you dehydrated. This little trick also will leave you with not only a large headache but a decent stomach aches to match. Because of this, you should avoid eating too many processed foods; they tend to be very high in sodium. Obviously, the more fat you eat, the more will be stored; which makes getting a flat stomach very difficult.
2. Exercise daily. This doesn’t mean that you have to go to the gym for 2 1/2 hours every single day, it just means that you should do more than you’re doing right now. If you have a very day and only have one or two hours each day to watch TV, do some sit-ups or crunches during the commercial breaks. This way, you get to watch your favorite shows, but you can still get a flat stomach.
3. Make a plan. This is hands down one of the best ways to get a flat stomach, but it is also one of the most overlooked. If you set up a plan and a goal for yourself that describes exactly what you need to do each day, it becomes much easier. You just do exactly what you told yourself to do each day, and before you know it you’ll have the abs and flat stomach that you wanted.
